About Us

The Reindeer dates back to the 1850's from it's days as an Inn and according to legend, gained its name from the deer that roamed the former orchard where it now stands.

Situated between the rolling Suffolk countryside, just a few miles outside of Newmarket, The Reindeer is somewhat of a local secret.

The Reindeer was refurbished and re-launched in 2004 as a totally non-smoking establishment, of which it remains the only one of its kind in the Newmarket area at the present time. The Reindeer is currently enjoying great success as both a public house and restaurant.
